DAcc Guest Lecture | Exploring Future Opportunities and Collaborations: Research, Teaching, and Networks

On December 23, 2025, the Department of Accounting (DAcc) at the Faculty of Business and Management successfully hosted an inspiring guest lecture in T1-302-R1. The lecture featured Professor Thomas Pfeiffer from the University of Vienna, as the keynote speaker. The topic of the lecture was "Exploring Future Opportunities and Collaborations: Research, Teaching, and Networks". The event attracted a large audience of faculty and students.

At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Adolf Ng, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, presented a commemorative gift to Professor Thomas Pfeiffer on behalf of the Faculty, expressing a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude for his visit and academic exchange.

Professor Thomas Pfeiffer expressed his high appreciation for the academic achievements of the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) and the Department of Accounting (DAcc). He also provided a brief introduction to his academic background and research expertise. Following this, Professor Pfeiffer delved into two key topics: "Research" and "Teaching." He offered an in-depth analysis of current hot topics and trends in academic research and, drawing from his extensive teaching experience, explored how innovative teaching methods can better equip students with both academic and practical skills.

The lecture was rich in content and delivered with clear logic, showcasing Professor Thomas Pfeiffer's profound academic expertise. It provided valuable insights and practical guidance for the attendees.
