On the morning of May 10, 2026, the campus selection final of the 2nd "CGMA Global Business Challenge" at Beijing Normal - Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) was successfully held in Lecture Hall T2-102. This prestigious global business competition is hosted by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA), with BNBU participating by special invitation.

Building upon the historic success of the inaugural competition, the Department of Accounting at the Faculty of Business and Management meticulously prepared for this year's event. Preparatory initiatives included an experience-sharing session led by Mr. Eric PAN, Business Director for South China at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), alongside the 2025 champion team. Additionally, Dr. Wing Sun LI, former Chairman of CIMA North Asia, hosted a specialized case-cracking workshop. Multiple faculty members from the Department of Accounting served as advisors, providing comprehensive, end-to-end professional mentorship—ranging from business report writing to live presentation techniques—to six participating teams composed of FBM students.

The final commenced with an opening address by Dr. Sun LIU, Head of the Department of Accounting. Following the opening, a distinguished panel of professionals rigorously evaluated the teams based on their business case analyses, strategic deductions, and live Q&A sessions. The panel comprised Mr. Mingkai WANG, Consulting Partner at Rongcheng CPA; Mr. Eric PAN, Business Director of South China at CIMA; and Dr. Wing Sun LI, former CFO of Ericsson Hong Kong and Associate Professor at BNBU.

Over the course of an intense two-hour competition, the contestants showcased solid professional knowledge, acute business acumen, and exceptional teamwork, perfectly illustrating the excellence of modern management accounting talents.

The competition was exceptionally thrilling, with all teams delivering compelling pitches, innovative solutions, and demonstrating remarkable adaptability under pressure. After careful deliberation by the judges, the final results are as follows:
