Class of 2026 e‑Business Management and Information Systems Graduates: Post‑Graduation Destinations Featuring a Third Consecutive Year of Over 90% QS100 Admission Rate

The Class of 2026 in e‑Business Management and Information Systems (EBIS) comprises 34 graduates. As of 13 June 2026, 27 have received offers from prestigious institutions at home and abroad and have chosen to pursue further study, while 5 have entered the workforce or taken up freelance work. The cohort has maintained steady progress in postgraduate progression, with an overall positive trajectory.

Further Study

This year's graduates achieved a QS top 30 admission rate of 33%, and a QS top 50 admission rate of 56% – marking the second consecutive year that this figure has remained above the halfway mark. The QS top 100 admission rate reached 91%, representing the third straight year it has exceeded 90%. The 27 students continuing their education received a total of 83 postgraduate offers, of which 77 came from QS top‑100 institutions – an average of nearly three offers per student from world‑ranked universities.

In terms of programme choices, over 60% of graduates opted to deepen their expertise within the core EBIS discipline, focusing on cutting‑edge fields such as Business Information Systems, Digital Transformation and Technological Innovation, Information Management, Artificial Intelligence, Ecological Data Science, and Business Analytics. The remaining students expanded into interdisciplinary areas including Digital Media, Marketing, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship, reflecting a broad and diverse range of developmental pathways.

Geographically, Hong Kong SAR emerged as the top destination for postgraduate study, accounting for 37% of those pursuing further education, followed by the United Kingdom at 30%, and Australia at 22%.

Employment

Among the graduates who have chosen direct employment, several have already received expressions of interest or offers from organisations including KPMG and BOSS Zhipin, and are currently weighing their final decisions.

According to a valid survey of EBIS alumni conducted for the 2024–2025 period:

  • 39% of alumni are currently employed at Fortune Global 500 companies, including Tencent, Alibaba, China Telecom, P&G, and Amazon.

  • 35% have joined leading technology firms and major internet companies in high‑skill and operational roles – for example, Huawei, Tencent, ByteDance, Meituan, ZTE, Anker Innovations, Trip. com Group, and Wangsu Science & Technology.

  • 26% are in digital transformation‑related positions, with employers such as municipal Bureaux of Industry and Information Technology, China Mobile (Hong Kong), Guizhou Salt Industry Group, Guangzhou Data Exchange, and HSBC (Hong Kong).
