About the Speakers:

1. Ms. Josephine Chin

Ms. Chin is currently the Co-Head of the Membership and Business Development Department at the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute). She is responsible for Corporate Training and exploration of new business opportunities in both Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong.

Before joining HKSI Institute, she has over 20 years of working experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She was the Head of Tax Training (Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong) and worked in the Corporate Tax Department. She obtained her Master of Science in Training and Performance Management from University of Leicester and Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy (First Honour) from the City University of Hong Kong. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and HKSI Institute.

2. Mr. William Leung:

Mr. Leung is a seasoned compliance professional who has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has hold key roles at leading European, Australian and Chinese financial institutions.

Mr. Leung holds an MBA from California State University, East Bay and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of New South Wales of Australia. He started off his career with a Big 6 accounting firm. Mr. Leung has played a key role in the IPO Audits of various H-shares listings in Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx). He then joined the Listing Division of the HKEx to consolidate his knowledge on capital markets. Mr. Leung then joined various financial institutions to pursue his interest in compliance field.

Mr. Leung is currently a fellow member of HKSI Institute and serves as a member of its China Committee. He is also a Certified Global Sanctions Specialist awarded by ACAMS and advises financial institutions to navigate through the complex landscape of international sanctions.
