I was an undergraduate in Accounting Programme of UIC in 2020. I originally planned to study abroad, however, due to COVID-19 and trouble adapting to online classes, I chose to apply to the Media Management Programme of UIC. I was lucky to get the offer and graduated in 2021with the degree of Master of Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University. The study experience improved my competitiveness. I received the offer from Nanyang Technological University during the study, and I will go to Singapore to continue my second master degree.
UIC provides a stage for students to show themselves, and offers lots of interesting activities like enterprise visits, New Year party, etc. Meanwhile, UIC also encourages us to pursue outstanding academic performance. Teachers at DBM of UIC and the School of Communication and Film of HKBU are pretty kind, and have highly professional attributes.
In such an environment, it is a great honor to achieve a good result. I got good grades thanks to the encouragement of friends and classmates, and we worked hard together to create a motivating learning atmosphere. Different from my undergraduate batch, my postgraduate classmates come from all walks of life and have rich experience. The interaction with them deepened my understanding of in-class and extracurricular knowledge. I also learnt a lot from their life experiences.
Looking back on my five years of study at UIC, I am grateful for this precious opportunity to learn from my knowledgeable teachers and interesting classmates. The study experience of MMGT is my precious spiritual wealth.
