"My undergraduate major—Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management—laid a solid foundation for my academic and professional journey. Through my studies, I came to understand that innovation is a core driver of economic development, and it is particularly crucial in the high-risk, high-reward entrepreneurial environment. Globalization and technological advancements have created more opportunities for entrepreneurship, which is why I decided to pursue a postgraduate degree at The University of Hong Kong to further explore areas such as innovation-driven development and international political economy.

This program equipped me with the capabilities to become an entrepreneurial manager. Courses in corporate finance, marketing, and innovation management helped me understand the competencies required for managerial roles in both startups and large enterprises. Through team projects, innovation practicums, and internship experiences, I accumulated valuable entrepreneurial experience, particularly in teamwork and enterprise development, providing significant support for my future career.

In transitioning from campus to society, the specialized curriculum and practical activities played a vital role. Through corporate visits, project practice, and group discussions, I gained not only theoretical knowledge but also practical opportunities. For example, during team innovation projects, we developed creative initiatives such as 'Recloth•Hong’s New Chinese-style Apparel' and 'Bestung Wigs,' learning how to conceptualize and implement commercial projects from scratch. I am also grateful that these experiences enhanced my market insight, decision-making abilities, and leadership skills.

Looking back on my four years at university, I not only acquired solid professional knowledge but also met many teachers who offered me invaluable help and guidance, including Prof. Shawn Shaolong TANG, Dr. Arif Mahmood, Professor Andy Luchuan LIU, Dr. Amber Yu CHANG, Dr. Shilei LI, and Dr. Chris HU. I am deeply thankful for their academic support and mentorship. Finally, I would like to extend my special thanks to my family, friends, teachers, and dear BNBU for your constant companionship and encouragement!"

"Compared to similar disciplines at traditional domestic 985/211 universities, BNBU's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management program emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, with a curriculum more closely aligned with 'real-world entrepreneurship.' Our program not only provides traditional theoretical business courses but also incorporates substantial practical content. The curriculum includes extensive entrepreneurial project practice, such as business plan writing, simulated venture pitching, and social entrepreneurship practice. The university also actively promotes major business competitions for us to participate in. I, for instance, teamed up with friends to take part in innovation competitions, building product models from scratch, conducting market analysis, and planning supply chain management. Such practical experiences have laid a solid foundation for our future entrepreneurial or professional endeavors.

During my four years at BNBU, what I cherish most is not only the business knowledge acquired in class or the hands-on project experience, but also the fortune of meeting a group of like-minded friends. Brought together by shared entrepreneurial aspirations, we progressed from initial classroom discussions to after-class brainstorming sessions, through multiple rounds of business plan revisions, and ultimately to delivering pitches together. These shared experiences forged the most genuine friendships, and the trust and tacit understanding among my classmates remain one of my most treasured gains from BNBU. On our future entrepreneurial and professional journeys, we will undoubtedly serve as each other's strongest pillars of support."

"I truly love the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management major. It has given me more flexible and free choices. Through undergraduate learning and practice, I deeply realized the importance of innovation management for the future business world, which further fueled my interest in this field. Therefore, I will continue to pursue a master's degree in this discipline to delve deeper into entrepreneurial models, innovation strategies, and changes in the global business environment.

In the future, more diverse disciplines will integrate with Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. Business competition will increasingly rely on innovation—whether in tech startups, emerging business models, or the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. All will require innovative thinking and management capabilities. I believe that growing alongside EPIN and adapting to the trends of the times will enable me, whether in entrepreneurship or entering the corporate world, to adapt more quickly to industry changes and find new opportunities in an ever-evolving market.

My four years at BNBU were a journey of continuous self-discovery, confidence-building, and finding my life direction. Here, I gained growth, friendship, and infinite possibilities. When I first entered university, I was quite introverted and hesitant to express my ideas.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have forged such genuine friendships during my undergraduate years. I am deeply grateful to have met everyone in the EPIN family—a group of individuals who are generous, enthusiastic, and inclusive. We collaborated in teams, exchanged ideas, and worked together with seamless. It was the support and encouragement from my EPIN friends that helped me grow within the group and become a more outgoing person."

"The wonderful time spent at BNBU is among my most precious memories. Here, I met like-minded friends, gained valuable knowledge, and experienced both growth and challenges.

EPIN is a warm and friendly extended family. The relatively small number of students in our major allowed us to know and understand each other well. I am very happy to have gained such genuine friendships and experienced such an lively classroom atmosphere during my undergraduate studies. At the same time, our teaching faculty consists of leading figures from both industry and academia, often engaging us in discussions on the latest business trends. Our sense for entrepreneurship and innovation was cultivated through these ongoing discussions.

BNBU's philosophy of Whole Person Education and Liberal Arts Education provided fertile ground for my holistic development. I greatly enjoyed the courses and projects under Whole Person Education. The diverse array of courses broadened my perspectives and cultivated new hobbies. My favorite was the golf course—not something every university offers. Although there is no golf course on the BNBU campus, the teachers would take us off-campus for classes to provide diverse options. This sport is relatively niche in China, and had BNBU not offered this course, I likely would never have learned it myself. Furthermore, when taking courses offered by other faculties, I experienced the charm of interdisciplinary liberal arts education. Different disciplines have distinct ways of thinking. After systematically studying humanities or STEM subjects, I now approach business problems from additional angles. I also met good friends from majors like FS, STAT, and GAD through these courses, and we even participated together in mathematical modeling competitions, further broadening my horizons. I am a curious individual passionate about diverse development, and BNBU truly provides abundant resources and platforms.

Graduation is approaching, and I am reluctant to part with these four years of university life. But we must ultimately move forward. I hope that I, EPIN, and BNBU all progress on our respective paths—the future is promising!”

"My four years of university were filled with countless pitching sessions. From nervously forgetting my lines to now handling myself with poise and confidence, and crafting proposals with ease, I have become more professional and self-assured. BNBU's Liberal Arts Education provided me with numerous opportunities for growth and learning from mistakes, allowing me to seek true understanding through practice and find direction amidst uncertainty, gradually transforming into a capable and independent adult.

The content of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management major taught me how to take a project from concept to reality—how to establish, operate, and expand a company. During my university years, I translated theory into practice. With the guidance and support of the university's innovation center, my own entrepreneurial venture achieved modest success.

Currently, I have received an offer from UCL and will embark on a new journey this September. I am grateful to all the teachers, friends, and classmates who helped me during these four years. Fortune favors the prepared mind. May we meet again at greater heights!"

"My four-year undergraduate studies at BNBU provided me with a solid foundation in business, and it is therefore an honor to share these reflections as a graduate of the EPIN program. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management major not only made me realize the importance of an entrepreneurial survival mindset but also taught me how to settle down, observe, and translate customer needs into actionable insights. Although I am now delving deeply into the entirely new field of healthcare at a new university, I continue to—and am able to—integrate the knowledge I gained from EPIN with the core principles of this industry."

"I majored in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at BNBU. At the time of my enrollment, it was only accepting its first cohort of students. While similar to the traditional 'Business Administration' discipline, our program differed significantly in its curricular focus. Beyond the common foundational courses required by the faculty, our specialized curriculum covered knowledge and practical application related to startup enterprises across areas such as management, financing, marketing, and corporate entrepreneurship. To cite an example from the second-year course 'Manage New Business,' we took the mobile phone brand 'Tecno' as a case study, formulating a market expansion strategy for them. This involved selecting target markets, conducting comparative analyses, and planning market entry tactics. Another noteworthy example is the senior-year course 'Corporate Entrepreneurship,' where we proactively identified companies of personal interest. Through methods like surveys and interviews with management, we assisted these companies in assessing the necessity and capacity for internal innovation and entrepreneurship, while also proposing measures and methods to incentivize such initiatives. These practical group assignments greatly enhanced my understanding of business and management. Furthermore, by taking on different roles within these teams, I gained hands-on experience in various positions within an organizational structure."
