"My four years at university have been a significant and enriching chapter in my life, bringing me many valuable assets. Every experience has become a cherished part of my university memories.
In the classroom, professors skillfully integrated theoretical knowledge with real-world domestic and international cases, allowing me to not only grasp textbook content but also understand how to apply this knowledge in actual market environments BNBU actively built practical platforms for us, offering a wealth of projects and hands-on opportunities, including corporate visits, sharing sessions, and competitions. I visited production floors to understand the manufacturing process from raw materials to finished products and exchanged ideas with marketing personnel to learn about real-world promotional and branding strategies. This gave me a more intuitive understanding of how marketing is applied across different sectors, moving beyond abstract classroom concepts. Sharing sessions were also invaluable learning opportunities, where professionals from diverse industries shared their experiences and insights. Participating in these sessions helped me understand the market characteristics, marketing models, and future trends in sectors like finance, internet, and manufacturing. This not only enriched my industry knowledge but also taught me to think about marketing issues from multiple perspectives, fostering a diversified mindset. Among various competitions, the L'Oréal Brandstorm challenge left the deepest impression on me. As a leader in the beauty industry, L'Oréal's competition is highly professional and demanding. Throughout the process, my team and I faced numerous challenges—from conducting in-depth market research on the beauty industry, collecting consumer preference data through online surveys and offline expert interviews, to precisely defining our target consumer group, and finally developing a comprehensive marketing strategy for a specific L'Oréal product. Each step required us to apply our knowledge and innovate continuously.
A rich array of extracurricular activities also formed an essential part of my university life. I actively participated in student clubs and the student union. One of my happiest achievements was organizing the university's first-ever Color Run event. During the planning process, every step—from determining the theme and developing the promotional plan, to coordinating with various departments and sponsors, and finally organizing and executing the event on the day—required careful planning and teamwork. This event allowed me to fully exercise my creative thinking by introducing the lively and fun format of a Color Run to BNBU, providing fellow students with a unique experience. Simultaneously, I honed my organizational, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, learning how to leverage my strengths within a team and collaborate with members to achieve our goals."
