On November 4, 2025, Mr. CHEN Mingdong (Level-4 Researcher), and Ms. LIU Zhen (Level-4 Officer) from the Shipping Management Division of the Zhuhai Tranportation Bureau, along with Dr. LAN Xiangang, Director of the Port and Shipping Management Programme at Zhuhai City Polytechnic, visited the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) and the International Centre for Intelligent Supply Chains (ICRSC) at Beijing Normal – Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU).

During their visit, they held discussions with Prof. Adolf NG, Dean of FBM and Director of ICRSC, and Dr. XIAO Yi, Assistant Professor of FBM and Associate Director of ICRSC. The visiting delegation sought the Faculty's input on the establishment of the "Zhuhai Shipping Research Collaborative Innovation Centre" under the municipal government's Zhuhai Modern Shipping Comprehensive Service Industry Three-Year Action Plan (2023-2025). They also had in-depth discussions on the feasibility of the faculty's participation in the innovation center.
