
On 23 November 2025, the International Centre for Resilient Supply Chains (ICRSC) of Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) at Beijing Normal–Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) held its first Advisory Committee meeting. At the meeting, Advisory Committee members received a progress report on the Centre and offered suggestions and guidance for its future development.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Adolf Ng, Dean of FBM and Director of ICRSC. External Advisory Committee members attending in person included Dr. James Wang, Research Director of the Great Bay Area Hong Kong Centre/Belt& Road Hong Kong Centre, and Mr. Shane Li, President and CEO of Red Leaf Capital.
Prof Zaili Yang, Professor of Maritime Transport at Liverpool John Moores University, Prof Shawn Tang, Professor of FBM and Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Zoey Xiao, Assistant Professor of FBM and Associate Director of ICRSC, Dr. Ellen Shan, Assistant Professor of FBM, and Ms. Yufei Liu, PhD student of FBM, also attended the meeting and exchanged views with the Advisory Committee members.
At the meeting, Prof. Ng reported on the Centre’s progress and achievements since its establishment in October 2024, including Centre development, conferences and events, academic activities and publications, and outlined the key priorities and plans for the next stage.
Members of the Advisory Committee expressed their strong recognition of the Centre’s development. During the discussion session, they engaged in in-depth exchanges on the Centre’s future direction and put forward concrete recommendations for its further construction and growth.
